Eligibility
The Shrinkage Worldwide Award is Open to Anyone. It is intended to promote designers who are thinking about a sustainable future. We encourage submissions from all disciplines including art, architecture, interior design, industrial design, experience design, communication design, graphic design, digital design, and urban planning, as well as decision-makers, thinkers, theoreticians and industries. We are looking for evidence of a productive cross- and inter- collaborative work between disciplines.


Guideline
Design a poster manifesto to promote and divulgate the shrinkage culture.


Unacceptable Material
Poster(s) that, propagate "hate" messages, make defamatory statements, or which are otherwise extraordinarily offensive are not eligible.


Disqualification
Ineligible entries may be disqualified at any phase of the award/competition without notification.


Acknowledgement of Entries
Entrants will receive an email acknowledgement when an entry has been received.


Terms and Conditions of Entry
The Shrinkage Worldwide Award (SWA) assumes all entries are original and the entrant either owns the poster/work or has permission from a client/team/organization or other appropriate party to enter the work, with all rights granted therein. The Shahneshin Foundation is not responsible for incorrect information provided on entry forms that misrepresents the copyright of original ownership of ideas. The Shrinkage Worldwide Award (SWA) is not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant. Submission of any entry acknowledges the right of the Shrinkage Worldwide Award (SWA) to use it for exhibition and publication in any medium. Timely submission of an entry meeting the eligibility requirements and payment of the entry fee as stated herein ensure that an entrant's work will be reviewed and considered for recognition. No other representation or warranty is made by the Shrinkage Worldwide Award (SWA) concerning entries and all implied warranties are hereby expressly disclaimed. If an entrant's work receives an award, the manner and details of announcing such nomination and award is strictly within the discretion of the Shahneshin Foundation the Shrinkage Worldwide Award (SWA).


Entrant understands that all awards may not be given or publicized in the same manner and some might be presented in a ceremony and others might not.

Entry Fee
SF has received hundreds of requests for the reduction of the Entry-Fee. Submissions by 19 November 2007. All entries must be postmarked by 19 November 2007. No entries will be accepted after 19 November 2007, unless there is clear the postmarked-date of the submission date.
The Shahneshin Foundation shall not be responsible for (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible or postage due mail, or (ii) any other problems relating to postal delivery of entries, including, but not limited to, lost or damaged entries, damage to artwork, or incorrect mailing address information.


Detailed entry instructions
Entrants may register online using the online entry form or by printing-out the entry form on a white-colour A4 page and fill-out all the required sections. (By clicking on the ENTRY FORM link located in the navigation bar of the award programme site, you will gain access to the entry form in which to officially register your entry/participation). An Entry (work/poster) is considered submitted only after a completed entry form printed, entry fee, a CD with the digital version of your work/poster within the SWA requirements (read carefully the brief) are in one package received by the Shahneshin Foundation the Shrinkage Worldwide Award (SWA) and payment for the entry fee is received.


Winner(s) and Commented Entries
A panel of distinguished interdisciplinary jurors will choose the winning(s) between first and second week of December. The winner will be featured in a special publication, and magazines and on www.shahneshinfoundation.org. The winner(s) will be notified by the 28th December 2007.
