A lot of people were sending emails to the SF and calling by telephone since the deadline is over, even last night. They were asking for the Extension of Submission Deadline. The submission deadline was scheduled 19 November 2007. Considering that Shahneshin Foundation (SF) offered a new deadline; so you may take the chance to submit your contribution to this Shrinkage Worldwide Awards 2007 by no-later than December 24th, 2007.
We are thankful on helping notify as many people as possible.

07 Shrinkage Worldwide Awards

the poster-programme for the 2007 edition of the Shrinkage Worldwide Award is designed by Andrea Wilkinson, professional graphic designer from New Zealand.
Educating the general public is very important, because as consumers they have enormous power to make choices about their homes and even their workplaces that will affect how companies view these issues. Why poster? Why posters are important? The History of Graphic Design shows that posters always had, and are continuing to carry a responsible focal point. Posters provide a forum for the discourse of ideas and the avenues to share those ideas outside of design community. Poster will continue to be an effective and affordable informative and educative tool. Posters articulate the vision for the Future. Posters are relevant not only as graphic examples of strategic lesions, but also for their potential to empower and inspire. Good posters continue to tell important stories to present and future generations. Posters capture people’s attention with a powerful graphic and then inspire with a profound message: shrinkage for sustainable future. Posters show the alternatives. Posters show that decision and action equals life.
The 07 edition of the Shrinkage Worldwide Award now is open and will be closed on the 19 November 2007.
